St. Luke’s University Health Network, the region’s largest, most established health system, a major teaching hospital, and one of the nation’s 100 Top Hospitals is seeking a full-time Medical Bariatrician to join a busy multidisciplinary, MBSAQIP Comprehensive Center and Non-surgical Weight Management Program.  We are expanding our program to include satellite offices at our Monroe and Warren campuses in PA and NJ.  We plan to include a Medical Weight Management (Non-surgical) Program as well as pre and post-bariatric surgery visits.

This position represents an exciting opportunity for the right physician to work with our current obesity medicine specialist and multi-disciplinary team in the development of satellite programs, and to champion the outreach and education efforts focused on the medical prevention and treatment of obesity. We currently have one employed medical bariatrician and a strong support team that consists of registered dieticians, social workers, and registered nurses.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate should be Board Certified in Obesity Medicine or should be Board Certified in IM or FP with anticipation of becoming Board Certified in Obesity Medicine.

St. Luke’s Monroe Campus, Bartonsville, PA

St. Luke’s Monroe Campus is the first new acute-care, non-replacement hospital Monroe County has seen in 100 years.
