The Department of Ophthalmology at UT Southwestern Medical Center is expanding and seeks an outstanding subspecialty trained cornea surgeon with expertise in lamellar corneal transplantation and broad interest in cornea, anterior segment surgery including cataract & Keratorefractive surgery, and external disease to join an established group of similar physicians. We prefer established academic credentials in patient care, teaching, and clinical/translational research. Academic level at Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor rank with preference for established track record.
Candidates should have an M.D. degree and be board certified or board eligible in Ophthalmology with subspecialty fellowship training, and be eligible for medical licensure in the state of Texas. Applications from new or established clinician scientists are encouraged.
