Cardiac Electrophysiology

The University of Louisville Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking a BC/BE Cardiac Electrophysiology specialist with experience in clinical investigational research, to join an expanding Division. A position is available at the Assistant or Associate Professor level for a Cardiac Electrophysiology clinician-educator with expertise in cardiovascular research. We are particularly interested in applicants who want to help grow the cardiac electrophysiology program, have expertise in advanced electrophysiology procedures including complex ablation (atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, epicardial ablations) and device procedures such as laser lead extractions, and wish to enhance our clinical research.  Clinical activities occur at the Louisville VA hospital, University of Louisville Hospital, and Jewish Hospital. We offer an outstanding compensation and benefits package as well as opportunities for combined appointments at the Louisville VA Medical Center. Applicants must possess or be eligible for Kentucky licensure. This position offers a unique opportunity in clinical medicine, clinical and translational research, and education. Academic rank and compensation commensurate with experience. The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Disorders Medicine is recruiting for an Assistant Professor who is interested in Critical Care, Pulmonary Medicine, and research in underserved populations.  The duties of the position will be to provide pulmonary and critical care services to patients at University Hospital, an Underserved area, and Jewish Hospital.  May also work in the University Ambulatory Internal Medicine (AIM) Clinic, which is a continuity clinic for patients who have been released from University Hospital.  The job duties will include classroom and clinical teaching in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Disorders Medicine in the School of Medicine.  Will help to develop programs in asthma, critical care, pulmonary fibrosis, and or sleep and participate in clinical and/or basic research programs.    Must be Board Certified/Eligible in Pulmonary Disease and hold a valid Kentucky Medical license.  (Position # 90005574)
