Cooper University Health Care (CUHC) and Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU) are seeking nominations and applications for an energetic, forward-thinking academic pulmonologist to serve as Head, Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine within the Adult Health Institute. The Division holds a strong reputation for teaching, research, and state-of-the-art patient care. We seek an individual with a national reputation in pulmonary medicine, with experience and expertise in clinical care, research, and teaching. We also seek a demonstrated leader who will be able to build upon the strengths of the Division to enhance the already well-established programs in pulmonary and to establish new opportunities, e.g. development of a lung center. The candidate must have the capability and commitment to continue the rapid growth of the MD Anderson Cooper lung cancer program. Responsibilities of this leadership role include support of the Division’s outstanding pulmonary/critical care and interventional pulmonary fellowship programs. The successful candidate will receive competitive compensation and recommendation for an academic rank at CMSRU commensurate with the individual’s training and achievements. Candidates must possess an MD or MD/PhD, board certification in Pulmonary Medicine, and a proven record of academic productivity. The position is full time.
