Spaulding Rehabilitation Network

Spaulding Rehabilitation Network is seeking candidates for the Director of Pain Research, which has an accompanying appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor level at Harvard Medical School (HMS). The incumbent will support the research mission of the Network and the HMS Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Faculty with expertise in pain research are particularly encouraged to apply. Candidates should meet the requirements for appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor at HMS. The successful candidate will be expected to lead a large and established set of clinical and research programs and provide oversight of teaching and training. An established record in administration; basic science, clinical and/or outcomes investigation; and mentoring residents and faculty members is required.

Spaulding Rehabilitation Network is one of the largest rehabilitation facilities in the U.S., providing comprehensive rehabilitation treatment. Our network includes a 132-bed main hospital, over 60 physicians on staff, 6 specialized inpatient programs in rehabilitation, 23 outpatient centers throughout Massachusetts, and more than 200 physical, occupational, speech-language and recreational therapists. Spaulding Rehabilitation Network is a member of Partners Healthcare, an organized system of quality healthcare delivery serving individuals, families and communities in New England, and affiliated with Harvard Medical School.
