The Division of Gastroenterology at the Massachusetts General Hospital welcomes applications from qualified individuals for the position of Education Director at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School.   Our division is at the forefront of fellowship training, clinical care, investigation and innovation in gastroenterology and hepatology and with the creation of this position, we are seeking to promote further innovation and advance research in GI medical education.  The Education Director will lead the Gastroenterology Fellowship program, an ACGME accredited training program with five fellows annually. In addition, the candidate is expected to coordinate medical student and resident training as well as advanced fellowship training opportunities within the Division. Successful candidates will possess a passion for medical education combined with excellent teaching skills.  Prior experience in basic, clinical or medical education research is advantageous.  Initial appointment will be as Assistant or Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School commensurate with qualifications, and in the Gastroenterology Division, MGH.
