The Perinatal Institute at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, a 550+ bed institution, is currently seeking full-time Hospital Physicians (or Hospitalist trained Physicians) for our Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

The Perinatal Institute provides an exciting, innovative, collegial, and collaborative environment dedicated to favorably changing outcomes for newborns and their health. You will be part of one of the largest academic neonatology divisions in the country recently ranked #4 in the United States according to U.S. News & World Report. You will have additional opportunities to participate in educational and quality improvement projects within the NICU. Hospital physicians provide direct care to neonatal patients admitted to the NICU. They work in conjunction with the attending neonatologist physician providing the patient’s day to day care and management of complex and acutely ill patients. Hospital physicians work in the context of a multidisciplinary team. Work Schedules will include day and night shifts in addition to weekend and holiday rotations. They work on average 3 (12 hour) shifts per week which provides for excellent work/life balance.

Requirements

Applicants must be board eligible/certified in Pediatrics.  Must have Level III/IV NICU and newborn training/experience.  Orientation is provided.
