Position Summary: Plan, develop, and direct the overall operation of our Nursing Services Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
Responsibilities & Duties of the DON, RN:
Plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures, etc. that are necessary for providing quality care
Lead, direct, and supervise all other nursing staff members as needed
Collecting patient data, making observations, reporting pertinent information to the care of patients
On call and responsible for the facility 24 hours daily
Qualifications of the Registered Nurse RN:
Ideal candidate must be a caring individual dedicated to providing high quality care to residents in our care
Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN in the state of - OH
1+ years of experience preferred, specifically in a SNF setting
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English Language fluently
Able to react to emergency situations appropriately when required
Must be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition
