ASSISTANT/ ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR POSITION

IN THE DEPARTMENT OF PEDIATRICS AND ADOLESCENT MEDICINE

The Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at The American University of Beirut Medical Center is seeking a full-time neonatologist at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor. Candidate must have completed three years of training in newborn medicine and certified or eligible for the American Subspecialty Board or equivalent, He/she must have evidence of research productivity as a primary investigator. His/her responsibilities will include inpatient and outpatient care, resident supervision and teaching of medical students and more as deemed appropriate by the Division Head and Chairman. The faculty member is expected to establish independent and focused research, participate in teaching and mentoring the research work of residents, fellows, and graduate students and post-doctoral fellows. Previous research and publications will constitute an asset.

The successful candidate will be appointed at the appropriate academic rank and track.
