Cambridge Health Alliance is an award-winning health system based in Cambridge, Somerville, and Boston’s metro-north communities. We are recruiting for a general surgeon to join our department of general and specialty surgeons.  CHA proudly provides innovative primary, specialty and emergency care to the diverse patient population through an established network of outpatient clinics, three emergency departments and two full service hospitals. As a Harvard Medical School and Tufts University School of Medicine affiliate, we offer ample teaching opportunities with medical students and residents.

• Full time opportunity available and includes outpatient clinic sessions, ER and ICU consults, and dedicated OR time
• Manageable call schedule including occasional nights, weekends and/or holidays
• Academic appointment available and incoming MD will have the opportunity to precept medical students and residents, participate in curriculum development, provide lectures, act as an advisor and mentor to graduate medical students and surgical residents, etc. 
• Department of Surgery at CHA consists of both general and specialty surgeons in additional to surgical physician assistants
