Assistant Professor, Gynecologic Oncology

The Gynecologic Oncology Service in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and The Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC) seeks an academic gynecologic oncologist who will be clinically based at the Johns Hopkins division located at GBMC and have both academic and teaching responsibilities. The ideal candidate would meet criteria for assistant professor at the Johns Hopkins University, School of Medicine, Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics.  Our program has a strong commitment to exceptional patient care, ground-breaking scholarship, excellence in teaching, and a dedication to faculty career development. The position is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and flourishing clinical practice located at the GBMC campus, a 342 bed medical center which combines the best of community and academic medicine. There are robust opportunities to participate in clinical trials, both at GBMC and Johns Hopkins, and direct teaching opportunity with medical students, residents, and fellows.

Applicants for this position must have completed a gynecologic oncology fellowship program, and have a track record of academic accomplishment in a relevant area of Gynecologic Oncology. Preference will be given to those who have exemplified outstanding clinical promise as well as skills in education and mentorship of academic physicians, and promise in furthering academic research in the area of gynecologic oncology. Responsibilities include comprehensive gynecologic oncology clinical and surgical care at the Johns Hopkins Gynecologic Oncology Division at GBMC, and education and research at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Main Campus, in Baltimore, MD.
