Pediatric Ophthalmology And Strabismus

(Associate/Full Professor)

The UCLA Stein Eye Institute and Department of Ophthalmology invite applications for a full-time faculty member in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at the level of associate or full professor. Full professor candidates will also be considered for the Leonard Apt Endowed Chair in Pediatric Ophthalmology. We seek a pediatric ophthalmologist with strong national or international reputation who is interested in significant medical and surgical activity, teaching of medical students, residents and fellows, research, and publication in professional and scientific journals. Salary and rank will be commensurate with credentials and experience. Further, the Search Committee also seeks candidates committed to contributions to equity, diversity and inclusion and we welcome candidates whose experience in teaching, research, and/or community service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to diversity and excellence. Applicants should have completed fellowship training or equivalent in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus, hold American Board of Ophthalmology certification, and be eligible for medical licensure in California and the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.
