Surgery - Vascular
The Stony Brook University Department of Surgery and the Division of Vascular Surgery is recruiting an attending at the level of Clinical Assistant Professor to serve the medical needs of currently underserved population on Long Island. The successful incumbent will work closely with the surgeons in the Division, as well as in the Department of Surgery.
Required Qualifications: M.D. or D.O. Degree; eligibility for the academic title of assistant/associate professor. To qualify for tenure and/ or a senior faculty appointment, the candidate must meet the criteria established by the School of Medicine (School of Medicine’s Criteria for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure). Eligibility for New York State license, Board Certified/Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery.
Preferred Qualifications: Record of success in basic or clinical research, interest and experience supervising undergraduate/graduate medical students, residents and fellows.
