The Outpatient Division of the Department of Cardiology at Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH) invites outstanding candidates to apply for a tenure-track faculty position as Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Harvard Medical School.
We are seeking applicants with exceptional potential to become leading independent researchers in related fields. The successful candidate’s research should align with the Department’s focus on understanding mechanisms, and may include a focus on cardiovascular genetics and genomics, and/or expertise in vascular health, with an interest in translating fundamental discoveries to the identification and treatment of pediatric atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. Investigators with a focus in outcomes research, quality, and other topics related to preventive cardiology are also encouraged to apply.
Successful candidates will be offered a competitive start-up package to direct innovative and independent extramurally funded research program (primary role), with secondary roles participating in the clinical, teaching and other activities of the Department. Suitable candidates will have an MD or MD-PhD, be trained in pediatric cardiology and preventive cardiology. For further information about the department, please visit us at:
