The University of Pittsburgh Department of Emergency Medicine invites applications and nominations for the  Paul Paris endowed professorship in Emergency Medicine Quality. The successful candidate is expected to advance  the knowledge and implementation of quality and safety  measures in acute care. A strong record of scholarship with national recognition in fields related to emergency care is required. The successful candidate should mentor junior  colleagues, engage in the training mission of the department, and create collaborations throughout the University. Applicants should hold a doctorate and be eligible for full-time appointment at the rank of associate or full professor with tenure.
