Per Diem (at least 10 hour weekly commitment)

Inpatient Psych Solutions (IPS), is looking for a self-starting, experienced, Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/Advance Practice Nurse to join our comprehensive Clinical Team. The ideal candidate demonstrates high ethical standards, possesses the ability to operate independently and is passionate about providing the highest quality patient care.

IPS is a healthcare organization headquartered in Augusta, GA providing behavioral health services to healthcare facilities including hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and nursing homes. Founded in 2019, we are in an exciting growth stage with multiple expansion opportunities in the near-term and opportunity for growth and leadership within the company.

Responsibilities:

* Provide effective individual psychiatric care
* Clinical evaluations, assessments, diagnosis, treatments and prevention of complications
* Management and completion of patient case load
* Record and input detailed patient notes into electronic medical record system while developing or maintaining treatment plans in conjunction with interdisciplinary teams
* Collaborate with IPS care team to ensure comprehensive approach
* Prescribe necessary patient medications

Requirements:

* Completion of advanced practice nurse program for Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatric/Mental health specialty
* Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
* Valid license as Registered Nurse/Nurse Practitioner
* Valid/Active Prescription Authority Certification
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
