RN - Ambulatory Float Pool - Per Diem Clinic Nurse, Option 3

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to:

Join our world-class team of doctors, nurses and other health care professionals, who provide everything from preventive health care to highly specialized programs.
Active member of the highly collaborative interdisciplinary team.
Caring for our patients and families of varied patient populations and locations.
Utilize your critical thinking skills in many ways such as triaging phone calls.
Promote healthy lifestyles, wellness, education and provide chronic condition management/education. Education:

Minimum Graduate of school of nursing.

Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Work Experience:

Minimum One (1) year of RN experience.

Preferred Relevant RN experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact and CPR/BLS Certification.

Preferred Applicable clinical certification.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

Knowledge and experience documenting patient care in an electronic medical record.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Ability to make knowledgeable clinical assessments and judgments.
Ability to educate staff.
Ability to provide counseling and emotional support with compassion and respect for the individual.
Ability to provide support to the members of the care team (teamwork).
Must possess initiative and ability to work independently.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of medical records. Physical Requirements:

Medium: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting/and or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

Work Schedule:

This is a Day shift position with (8) eight hour shifts. Three days per week: Monday - Friday. No weekends and no holiday rotation required. Hours may vary based on operational needs of department.

Option III: A Per Diem Registered Nurse Option III must commit to work a defined period of time for a specific department (Inpatient Unit(s), Clinic(s), or Surgical Services). Option III assignments require at least sixty percent (60%) FTE time commitment and may require a designated schedule commitment.
