Job Title - LVN/ LPN

Pay Rate: $32/hr (negotiable)

Hours: 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM (must be available to work weekends)

  • PDX Airport (outside) - 7000 NE Airport Way, Portland, OR 97218
• Multnomah Pavilion - 3161 Southwest Pavilion Loop Multnomah Pavilion, Portland, OR 97239 **Need to be available to report to any of the above locations**

Job Summary:

As an LVN/LPN, the primary function is to screen the patient to confirm clinical appropriateness for vaccination and to vaccinate.

1. Refer to Vaccine Administration Procedure documents - Administer COVID-19 vaccine.

• Write the time of vaccination on the side of the windshield for the person who was vaccinated
  • Below the time write either a 15 or 30 to identify length of monitoring
• Tell the person how long they will need to be monitored

1. Inform patient that they will need to pay attention and respond to the monitor, and to open their car door if they begin experiencing any side effects
2. Direct patient to appropriate monitoring area

Physical Requirements:

This position will require working in variable weather conditions at our outdoor vaccine clinics. Some clinics may be at indoor locations. Staff will stand the majority of the day. This position requires frequent intervals of walking significant cumulative distances (ie. transporting specimens/supplies etc.) standing for long periods of time, and bending. Ability to lift or help position (using correctly learned body mechanics)

patients weighing up to but not limited to > 200 lbs with or without assistance. The work environment carries risk of exposure to human tissue/fluids and radiation. Use of all hospital approved clinical equipment. Significant use of computers, copiers, multi-line phones, and fax.

Minimum Qualifications: Possess a valid Oregon Practical Nurse License
