Department of Internal Medicine – Division of Geriatric Medicine

Saint Louis University, a Catholic Jesuit institution dedicated to education, research, and clinical care seeks applicants for a faculty position in the Division of Geriatric Medicine beginning July 2021.  Appointment rank will be commensurate with experience. 

The Division is a nationally recognized leader in clinical care, teaching and research. Areas of expertise include: geriatric assessment, Alzheimer’s Disease, nursing home medical direction, palliative care, and aging-related education.  Fully accredited geriatric medicine and palliative care fellowships are supported by the Division.  Clinical services are provided in the hospital, nursing home, ambulatory, assisted living, and home care settings.  The Division is affiliated with the St. Louis VA Medical Center, with excellent opportunities for growth at that location.  The Division is financially stable and poised to maintain its national prominence.  

The successful candidate should have appropriate board certification and substantial interest or experience in clinical geriatric medicine, medical education, academic leadership and/or academic research.
