Physician Assistant Cardiac Surgery | JOB-2674317

An experienced Cardiothoracic ICU Physician Assistant is desired to join a strong team with a large healthcare system in the Washington DC area! Candidates should have experience managing surgical patients, including chest tube and wound management, titrating anti-hypertensive medications and diuretics, and reading x-rays and telemetry monitoring. Must be comfortable making decisions with autonomy and discharging patients and have excellent experience with high-acuity cardiac surgery patients, mechanical support and procedures. The schedule is rotating Day/Night/Weekend, about 16 shifts per month with no call. Strong benefits and salary!
