Department Details

Join our Behavioral Health team in a clinic setting caring for children, adolescents, and adults. Clinic hours are Monday, Thursday, and Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with extended evening hours on Tuesday and Wednesday. Scheduled hours for this position are 32 per week, and the employee can flex up to 40 hours per week. Full-time benefits and a 401(k) are available with this position. **Sign-on bonus available

Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) participates in the implementation and evaluation of patient care, under the supervision of a registered nurse; ensures the health, comfort and safety of patients. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) documents a thorough medical history from patient and performs a physical exam to determine patient's needs.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) discusses information collected from patients with a registered nurse and administering medications or treatments as ordered.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides technical support to healthcare professionals as needed.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) counsels patients and family members, under the direction of a registered nurse, on prevention and treatment plans.

This full-time position is 32 hours per week and can flex up to 40 hours per week, primarily days and includes rotation for evening shifts. Clinic hours are Monday, Thursday and Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM; Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 AM to 9 PM. A robust benefits package and 401(k) are offered with this position.

Qualifications

Must have graduated from an accredited school or college of nursing program leading to licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Associate's degree in practical nursing is preferred. Specific services/positions may have additional education, training or experience requirements. Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span as part of the curriculum or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as an LPN at another facility. If IV therapy is required, the incumbent must have completed, upon date of hire or within designated timeframe as determined by the department, a board approved educational program that included intravenous therapy in the curriculum or successfully completed a course in intravenous therapy that was developed according to board guidelines and approved by the board.

Requires current licensure as a practical nurse in the state/states of practice.
