About the job:The FlexChoice Unit II RN, within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, will provide care in an atmosphere sensitive to each persons physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs. The FlexChoice Unit II RN collaborates in the spirit of teamwork and is accountable for the delivery of patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of Mount Carmel Health System.What you will do:Collaborates with patient and family to develop and implement a plan of care that includes physical, spiritual and educational componentsCreate a caring and healing environment that keeps the patient and family at the center of careWork with state-of-the-art technologyExperience interdisciplinary relationships & collaborationHave autonomy for decisions affecting professional practicePromote evidence-based practice and quality initiatives and exhibits professionalism in nursing practice within the model of the ANCC Magnet Recognition ProgramCall required: one 24-hour weekend shift per 6-week schedule, 1-2 night calls 2330-0800 per 6 week scheduleWhat we are looking for:Graduate from school of nursingCurrent license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of OhioWork experience will include a minimum of two years of nursingin an acute care environmentEffective Communication SkillsDemonstrates the ability to plan, organize and manage patient care, including delegation to and supervision of other members of the patient care team--Mount Carmel and all its affiliates are proud to be equal opportunity employers.
