Our client located in Dallas, Texas in need of Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join their growing practice on a minimum 6 month contract with the opportunity to go permanent basis.

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Role:
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner works under the Medical Doctor to assist with maintaining efficient patient flow and quality care during clinic hours.
PNP works as part of a health care team to provide comprehensive care in a non-judgmental manner.
Provides high-quality care to the patient population.
NP will join a team that provides quality and personalized care.
Work with electronic medical records (input software) and assist provider with patient care.
Take care of related lab duties (U/A, strep tests, lab orders, vaccine administration, etc), telephone triage, provide patient education, and perform other duties as needed.
Demonstrate the skills to provide age-appropriate care to the clients of the clinic.
Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to interpret information relative to the patient's age-related needs.
Perform basic laboratory duties.
Ability to interpret signs and symptoms elicited through history and physical.
Ability to determine health problems after lab and x-ray information.

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Profile:
Pediatric Nurse Practitioners should be certified and have training and experience in evaluating and treating infants, children, and adolescents to maintain their overall well-being. Must provide proof of current license.
NP's with at least one year of experience in outpatient pediatrics is preferred but fresh graduates will be considered for this position also.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
CPR required - we can update upon hire if needed.
Attendance and punctuality are necessary.
Ability to work well with a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to problem-solve, and be self-motivated.
Must have excellent written and oral skills, strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Must have the ability to multitask, manage priorities and workflow.
Required to have versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm and have an acute attention to detail.
The candidate must be able to handle a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment.
Required to have the ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels and with external customers.
