Nurse Manager Surgery Center

This outpatient surgery center will be outfitted with the latest in surgical technologies and will have an immediate funnel of surgeries from well-respected area surgeons. This multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center will offer a variety of surgical options including orthopedics, sports medicine, ENT, general, endoscopy, bariatrics, total joint replacement and ophthalmology. The managing organization will implement their proven operational strategies to create a patient centered environment where staff, physicians and patients feel at home.

The Operating Room Nurse Manager will work with the perioperative services team and ensure collaborative team work throughout the 4 operating suites at this ASC. The Operating Room Nurse Manager will be supported by experienced surgical technologist, OR circulating nurses, Pre-OP, Pre Admission Testing (PAT) and Post-Op Recovery nurses. Moreover, the PACU area in this outpatient surgery center is designed for optimal healing and a quick recovery period. The Operating Room Nurse Manager and Director of Nursing will ensure fluid patient flow between the surgical units. A consistent cadence will ensure surgeons are able to efficiently operate and staff is able to provide appropriate care to their patients.

The Operating Room Nurse Manager may provide breaks for staff, circulate in the OR on occasion and will fill in for the DON during any time off or absence. An experienced CNOR RN will thrive in this environment, and an understanding of CMS and AAAHC surveys will provide a strong background the the OR RN Manager that accepts this exciting position.
