The Diagnostic Imaging Tech II is accountable for the health status and health needs of their patients based upon interpretation of health data and preventative health practices in collaboration with the patients and the interdisciplinary healthcare team members.

The Registered Nurse is accountable for the health status and health needs of their patients based upon interpretation of health data and preventative health practices in collaboration with the patients and the interdisciplinary healthcare team members. The EP Lab staff RN will assist as scrub, circulator/sedation RN and monitors for interventional cardiology procedures.

Responsibilities

Licenses and Certifications:
-Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT)
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
Associates Degree of Radiology preferred

OR

-Current Texas RN license

AND

CPR certified from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
ACLS certified

Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Minimum of 1-year acute care experience preferred
Interventional Cardiology/Cath Lab, Critical Care, or Emergency Services nursing preferred
Assess, plan, evaluates, documents total nursing process
Critical thinking skills
Ability to work as a team extremely important
Organized, able to prioritize and multi-task
Self-motivated, adaptable and being flexible are a must
Computer skills necessary; EMR Epic documentation; Mac-Lab Hemodynamic Recording System
Clear and effective communication with physicians, patients, families, multiple departments and other healthcare professionals
Compassionate customer service skills
Committed to patient and family satisfaction
