The Emergency Room Nurse Manager role provides oversight and coordinates the clinical activities and operations of a NEWLY BUILT busy emergency care unit. Contributes to the development of a fully qualified and continuously improving staff and supports work redesign and quality improvement within the department. Acts as a liaison between the ECC and other departments building a unified plan to deliver continuous, safe, and high quality ECC patient care. Assists in the planning and administrating the annual budget in collaboration with the ECC Director. Demonstrates high level knowledge of applicable regulatory rules and regulations. Assures compliance with the annual risk updates, PI projects as indicated and mandatory in-services for high risk low volume procedures based on a high-risk unit. Assures updates based on new or modifications to the elements of performance from CMS, TJC and ACHA. Demonstrates Service excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

• Current licensure in the state of Florida; BSN Required
• 3 years of leadership experience
• Required knowledge of human resource management, program development, fiscal management skills, and familiarity with regulatory and accrediting agency standards
• BLS - ACLS - PALS - CPI REQUIRED; MSN, TNCC preferred
• 3 years of ER RN experience
• Acute care experience
