Job Description
A clinic in California is seeking a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician to provide quality patient care for a Locum Tenens assignment.

Assignment:

Dates: Immediate, ongoing, full-time, 4-5 days/week needed.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Setting: Outpatient

Call: No call

Volume: 16-24

Patient Ages: 25-50

Procedures: No injections are required, they don't need an interventionalist

Cases: This is not a narcotics pain clinic. This is the type of clinic that a patient will go to after they go to occupied urgent care for deeper care and long-term 6mos of workers comp treatment. They do not do urgent or primary care just long-term works comp. Musculoskeletal, workers comp, chronic pain. Need locum to see the patients as the primary provider, they have other physicians who can do the injections, interventional procedures, EMGs, etc. Looking for PM&R or pain experience.

Support Staff: Full office staff - MAs, transcription in-house, NPs & PAs

EMR/Charting: Prognosis - will train

Requirements:

Boards: Board Certified; Board Eligible

Certifications: BLS; DEA
