Job Description
A hospital in Louisiana is seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician Assistant to provide quality patient care for a Locum Tenens assignment.
Assignment
Dates: Up to full time, ongoing until perm is hiredSchedule: Standard hours - for inpt days its 8-5 and for clinic days its 9-4
3 days inpt, 2 days in the clinic per weekSetting: Mix of Inpatient & OutpatientCall: Will depend on schedule offered. May ask for 1 weekend if covering 2 weeks, 2 weekends if they're full timeVolume: For clinic days: 12 - 15 (estimated 2 new consults in this per day) ppd. For inpt days: 14 - 18 ppdPatient Ages: Adults onlyProcedures: See aboveCases: BMT (must) and CART is super wanted but not an absolute must.
If were going to go outside of these parameters, must be full timeSupport Staff: Full support staff. Another NO and Nurse NavigatorEMR/Charting: Meditech and eCWRequirements
Boards: Board CertifiedCertifications: ACLS; BLS; DEA
