Must be flexible and willing to float if needed. Strong communication skills and knowledge of current evidence-based practice are essential. Position: Inpatient ICU RN
Required Education and Credentials
- Current RN license and good standing with the WI state board of nursing
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum of 1 year full-time experience as an ICU RN within the last year.
- APRNs who apply must have recent bedside experience under RN scope of practice.
- Strong critical thinking skills as well as the ability to assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate and delegate the delivery of skilled care for critically ill patients.
- Strong experience with managing ventilators, proning patients, chest tubes, assisting during intubation, recovery of post-op patients, and assisting with para/thoracentesis.
- Competency with CVP monitoring, arterial lines, and rapid infusers.
- Previous completion of TNCC course preferred.
