Phoebe is seeking full-time Certified Nursing Assistants who are interested in joining our dedicated team. This is a union position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assists with orienting residents and their families upon admission.
• Utilize good body mechanics in lifting, moving, and transporting residents.
• Communicates and interacts effectively with the resident during care and at meal times.
• Receives reports from charge nurses regarding resident conditions and updates care cards as needed.
• Ensures an atmosphere which will allow for the privacy, dignity, and well-being of all residents.
• Provides individualized care to residents according to the resident's care plan including feeding, oral care, bathing, dressing, compression stockings, catheter care, encouraging participation in restorative programs, and following behavior plans.
• Assists in maintaining a safe, neat, and clean environment.
• Observe changes in the resident's condition or behavior and report these to the charge nurse immediately.
• Answers resident's call bells and responds to their needs promptly.
• Prepares residents for appointments and assures they arrive timely with appropriate clothing/coats/shoes as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current CNA Certification for the state of Pennsylvania or eligibility and pursuit of certification
• Three (3) month prior experience in long-term care preferred.

Phoebe offers a very competitive starting rate with sign-on-bonuses that include shift and weekend differentials. CNAs at Phoebe can earn up to $18/hour!
