What you will do:

Our Oncology Nurses specialize in the treatment of cancer patients throughout the continuum of care, from diagnosis through treatment, recovery and survivorship. Nurses certified in chemotherapy administration work closely with our onsite pharmacists, oncologists and support staff to safely administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products and other therapies. The RNs provide pre, intra and post-therapy assessment; appropriate interventions, patient and family education; discharge instructions; and coordination of interdisciplinary services for each patient visit.
  • Uses the electronic medical record to communicate effectively.
  • Performs quality assurance duties as assigned.
  • Provides a clinical visit summary (Patient Plan) to patient as requested including educational materials.
  • Participates in daily Patient Care huddles as appropriate.
  • Works cooperatively with all colleagues to ensure quality patient care at all times.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What you will need:

RN License

Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education.

Minimum of three years nursing experience, including at least one year of oncology nursing experience preferred.
Knowledge of the purpose and use of medications in the treatment of cancer required.
Current OCN certification a plus.
BSN preferred
