Ambulatory Care RN Job Summary & Responsibilities
An ambulatory care nurse is a registered nurse who specializes in providing health care for patients who are not in the hospital and require minimal bedside services. They also provide care for patients that have been discharged from the hospital but require follow-up nurse visits. Ambulatory care nurses are responsible for the medical care of patients in an outpatient setting, such as an emergency room or long-term health facility. They may be assigned as the primary nurse for one or more patients or they may provide care in collaboration with a multi-professional team. RN will be responsible for triage, lab draws, injections, POC testing, and rooming patients.

Requirements Ambulatory Care RN Requirements
- Degree from an accredited nursing program in good standing
- RN license for the state applying
- At least 2-3 years of recent Ambulatory Care RN Experience
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certificate
- Must have outstanding internal and external customer service skills
