Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin! We are seeking a Registered Nurse to: Work with a dynamic interdisciplinary Orthopedic team to systematically and continuously collect and assess data to provide therapeutic care with the patient and/or family.
Be part of a team that uses evidenced based care and technology at Wisconsin's #1 Hospital. Education: Preferred - Baccalaureate degree in nursing. Work Experience: Minimum - One (1) year recent acute medical or surgical experience required. Preferred - Orthopedic nursing experience. Licenses and Certifications: Minimum - Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin. CPR certification. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Knowledge regarding quality improvement and standards of care within practice area.
Experience in teaching patients and families.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to effectively delegate and supervise the work of other nursing team members. Physical Requirements: Medium: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Work Schedule: 90% FTE, Day/Night with 3 - 12 hour shifts per week. 0700 - 1900 or 1900 - 0700. Weekends & holidays required. Hours may vary depending on department need.
