The Department of Dermatology at the University of Pennsylvania seeks an experienced dermatologist with outstanding leadership skills and a clinical and academic focus on solid tumor cutaneous oncology.  The candidate will be an integral part of the Penn Dermatology Oncology Center, collaborating with our team of clinicians, surgeons, and scientists to prevent and cure skin cancer.

The candidate will serve as the Director of Medical Imaging for Dermatology, providing oversight for the utilization of our state-of-the-art Canfield VECTRA® WB360 Imaging System, and leading efforts to integrate innovative, noninvasive imaging technology into our clinical, research, and educational programs.

We seek applicants who have demonstrated a commitment to improving the lives of skin cancer patients with specialized patient care, world-class education, or innovative research.  The candidate will be a key teacher for residents and fellows.  Opportunities are available for clinical trials and research focusing on patients that have solid tumor skin cancers with an increased risk for recurrence and metastasis or with heritable or iatrogenic conditions associated with a high number of skin cancers.

Penn Dermatology offers competitive compensation, with a strong track record of financial stability and growth, and extensive resources to help faculty to develop meaningful careers.  The Perelman School of Medicine is consistently rated as one of the top medical institutions in the United States, and the dermatology department, the first in the nation, has been at the forefront of academic medicine since its founding in 1874. Philadelphia is rich in culture, art, and cuisine, and the city and surrounding region support diverse lifestyles.

Applicants must have an MD, DO, or MD/PhD degree and be board-certified or board eligible in Dermatology.
