The Department of Urology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) invites mid-career (Associate Professor level preferred) Urologic Oncologists to apply for a position at VUMC. This is an academic post that will be clinically centered at the Vanderbilt University Hospital, with options for practice growth at one of several regional sites. The accepted candidate will have clinical, teaching, research, and university service responsibilities, as well as opportunities for public service.

Qualified candidates must possess a medical degree, have completed an ACGME approved Urology residency, be board certified in Urology, be eligible for licensure in the State of Tennessee, and be fellowship trained in Urologic Oncology. The ideal candidate will have a passion for clinical care/research in urologic oncology that complements that of the current faculty. An interest in urothelial carcinoma of the bladder and/or upper tract, and experience with robotic intracorporeal diversion are desirable, but not required.

The Department of Urology at VUMC is dynamic, growing, and highly regarded in the region, nationwide, and internationally.  Our faculty represent leadership within the Southeastern Section and the American Urological Association, at large.  Many are chairs or members of Guidelines Committees, national Urological and public health committees, policy/advisory boards, and non-profit or public service organizations.  The Department receives significant extramural funding in adult and pediatric Urology, and has highly respected research production in health services research, basic science, translational/clinical science, quality improvement research, and health policy.

Applicants may submit their C.V. to Dantha Martin at dantha.martin@vumc.org.
