Academic Adult and Congenital Cardiac Surgeon

The Division of Cardiac Surgery at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute (UOHI) / University of Ottawa (uOttawa) is internationally recognized for its quality of care, patient satisfaction, procedural innovation, research, and education. The Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) is a widely recognized leader in tertiary pediatric quality care and academia.

We are inviting applications for a full-time Academic Cardiac Surgeon with a dedicated joint background in congenital, adult congenital, and adult cardiac surgery. The position is a combined recruitment between the UOHI, CHEO, and the Department of Surgery at the uOttawa Faculty of Medicine. Candidates at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor will be considered. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadians and permanent residents will be given priority.
