The Department of Pediatric Surgery at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and The Ohio State University College of Medicine is seeking a full-time pediatric surgeon to join the department. While all applications will be considered, certification in Surgical Critical Care, and special interest in trauma, burns and surgical oncology are preferred.

The Nationwide Children’s Department of General Pediatric Surgery provides comprehensive surgical care for infants, children and adolescents with congenital and acquired conditions.  Our nationally-recognized team includes 17 pediatric surgeons who perform more than 5,000 operative procedures a year.  Care is provided in multiple focused areas of excellence. We have many fellowship programs including pediatric surgery, surgical critical care, minimally invasive surgery, bariatric surgery, and colorectal surgery, as well as multiple research fellowships.

Qualified applicants will be BC/BE in pediatric surgery. Applicants must be committed to academic surgery and to surgical education. Preferred candidates will have demonstrated excellence in clinical care and teaching, and will advance the academic mission of the Department.
