Nicklaus Children's Health System (NCHS) seeks a dynamic and enterprising physician leader to serve as the next Chief of Cardiology and Co-Director, Heart Institute. This is a terrific opportunity for a strategic and innovative leader to drive operational and clinical advancement, while simultaneously focusing on the educational mission in order to develop a high performing and top tier division of pediatric cardiology.

NCHS is comprised of the level-I pediatric trauma center and 309-bed flagship institution, Nicklaus Children's Hospital, as well as a network of outpatient and urgent care centers, Nicklaus Children's Hospital Foundation, Nicklaus Children's Pediatric Specialists, an ambulatory surgery center, and an e-commerce line of children's wellness and safety products. NCHS has received many accolades over the years, including designation as a Magnet facility for nursing excellence and most recently ranked in seven pediatric subspecialty programs by U.S. News & World Report.

The Heart Institute offers the most innovative, least invasive approach in pediatric cardiology and cardiovascular surgery for treatment of congenital heart disease. The cardiology division partners with cardiovascular surgery to form a highly integrated multidisciplinary team.

The Division of Cardiology serves as Southern Florida's centerpiece for pediatric cardiology care. With over 17 subspecialized cardiologists, the Division provides complex cardiology care that consistently delivers care excellence for patients and families. The cardiology division is multifaceted and is focused on developing the next generation of physicians with the pediatric cardiology fellowship program and residents who rotate through the service.

The Chief/Co-Director will be a transformative leader in Pediatric Cardiology with experience working within a complex and advanced Division. They will be responsible for fostering and leading a unified cardiovascular program while promoting a Division and Institute that is focused on clinical growth and advancement, pragmatism, quality and dedicated mission to serving patients and families. Candidates must hold a medical doctorate degree and board certification in pediatric cardiology.
