POSITION SUMMARY

The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at The University of New Mexico is seeking a board certified/board eligible Gastroenterologist with experience in Clinical Service, Education and Research.  Review will continue until the position is filled. A focus in Hepatology is highly desirable although not required.  Opportunities exist for clinical trials, clinical/translational research and graduate medical teaching. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States. This position is for an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor on the Open Track. Salary will be commensurate with training and experience. The selected candidate will join an outstanding academic center for the study and treatment of digestive diseases.  The Faculty Members of the Division are superbly trained academic clinicians and scientists, recognized nationally and internationally as leaders in their respective fields.

This position may be subject to a criminal records screening in accordance with New Mexico law.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

• Board certified/board eligible Gastroenterologist
• Must be eligible to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Clinical Service
• Experience in Education
• Experience in Research
• Focus in Hepatology
