Stanford University - Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine Faculty
The Division of Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine is seeking applications for a faculty member in the clinician-educator line. The successful candidate will possess expertise in Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine. The candidate will work at our San Francisco, Emeryville, and East Bay locations. Engaging in research activities, across the full range of Stanford University, is highly encouraged. Teaching of medical students, residents and fellows will be an important component of the position.
Candidates must have an MD and be Board Certified in Pediatrics, and either Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine and obtain a California Medical License by the time of hire. The candidate will be appointed at the Assistant, Associate or Professor rank in the Clinical Educator Line. The Clinician Educator role is defined by engagement in clinical care and teaching that advances clinical medicine. Rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.
It is expected that candidates are outstanding clinicians with dedication to teaching and mentoring trainees. Priority will be given to candidates who specialize in cystic fibrosis, chronic lung disease, or sleep medicine.
