New Brunswick, NJ - Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS) is seeking a dynamic, collaborative academic leader to serve as the Director of the Neonatology Division of the Department of Pediatrics.

The incoming Director must be strategic and operationally focused to guide the faculty to the next level through the advancement of clinical programs, education and research while continuing to meet and exceed national standards of excellence. This position requires thorough understanding of the healthcare environment, both regionally and nationally, a vision for the growth of clinical services, as well as an ability to collaborate with other leaders across the Department of Pediatrics, Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital, RWJMS, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH), and RWJBarnabas Health.

The Division of Neonatology at RWJMS operates the premiere academic level IV neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) in the greater New Jersey area, and the only training program for neonatology fellows in the state. Consistently exceeding national benchmarks, the eight fulltime faculty provide care in the 37 bed unit of the 19,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility at RWJUH, Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital. The faculty also provide neonatology services at two other regional sites.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding clinical and academic leader with demonstrated ability to set a vision, effectively inspire, manage and mentor others. An individual who has a passion for providing care, the leadership to engage faculty and an enduring commitment to provide an environment conducive to maximizing education and growing research while continuing to provide world class care.
