MOSDOH - Comprehensive Care Unit (CCU) Director - Assistant Professor

We are proud of our state of the art facility equipped with the latest technology in digital dentistry including cone beam technology, digital scanners and milling machines.

We are searching for a full time Comprehensive Care Unit Director who will direct students and staff in one of our Comprehensive Care Units. The chief responsibilities of the CCU Director will be:

1.Maintainenance of Standards of Care and ensure continuity of care for all patients in their unit.

2. Managing students as they develop and work through patient treatment plans, achieve educational goals and attain competencies.

3. Conduct regular meetings with students, faculty, and staff to review issues, plans, events and student achievement.

The candidate should have at least five years’ experience in private practice where general dentistry is performed, be highly skilled in treatment planning complex cases and have experience with digital dentistry. At least five years’ experience in a dental teaching environment and completion of advanced and continuing education courses in general dentistry will be given preference. The candidate must have their DDS/DMD or equivalent degree and be licensable in the state of Missouri.
