The Division of Blood and Marrow Transplantation in the Department of Medicine at Stanford University seeks a Assistant/Associate/Professor in the Medical Center Line (MCL) or Clinician Educator Line (CE). The candidates should have an outstanding record of accomplishment in clinical care, teaching, and a focused area of research activity in allogeneic and autologous marrow, cellular therapy, and blood stem cell transplantation. The candidates will be considered across broad areas of expertise, these may include: clinical trial outcomes, translational research, laboratory analysis of immune response.

The major criteria for appointment for faculty in the Medical Center Line shall be excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, clinical teaching, scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, and institutional service appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. The major criteria for appointment as Clinician Educators are excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. Academic rank and line will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.

The successful applicant should have an MD, or MD/PhD with a subspecialty in Hematology or Oncology. Candidate is expected to hold or be able to obtain a CA medical license. Board certification or board eligibility in hematology or oncology and completion of BMT fellowship program are required.
