Cooper University Health Care

Adult Health Institute

Head, Division of Nephrology

Cooper University Health Care (CUHC) and Cooper Medical School of Rowan University (CMSRU) are seeking nominations and applications for an energetic, forward-thinking academic nephrologist to serve as Head, Division of Nephrology within the Adult Health Institute and Department of Medicine. The Division holds a strong reputation for teaching, research, and state-of-the-art patient care. We seek an individual with a strong academic reputation in nephrology, with expertise and experience in clinical care, research, and teaching. We also seek a demonstrated leader who will be able to build upon the strengths of the Division to enhance the already well-established programs in nephrology, and to establish new opportunities and innovations in clinical programming.  The position will come with a significant foundation, including community-based practices, a robust inpatient service, and relationships with several outpatient dialysis centers. The Division participates in innovative care model initiatives through Medicare shared savings.  The Division also has a fellowship training program in nephrology.  The successful candidate will receive competitive compensation and recommendation for an academic rank at CMSRU commensurate with the individual’s training and experience. Candidates must be physicians who are board-certified in nephrology, and have a proven record of academic productivity. The position is full time. All applications held in strict confidence.
