The Department of Surgery at SBH Health System in the Bronx, New York , Division of Trauma, Surgical Critical Care and Acute Care Surgery, is seeking a board-eligible or -certified surgeon in General Surgery and Critical Care. This full-time position is eligible for endorsement for an academic appointment at CUNY School of Medicine. The MD or DO candidate must demonstrate clinical, academic and teaching skills in the field of trauma, acute care surgery and surgical critical care.

This position provides the opportunity to work in a hospital and a department of surgery well known for professionalism, friendly work environment and collaborative culture. The core team of trauma /critical care surgeons is supported by great teams of orthopedic trauma surgeons, neurotrauma, hand surgery, plastic surgery, vascular surgery and others, in addition to a team of trauma manager, PI coordinator and registrars.
