PetMedic Urgent Care Vet Clinic is seeking a Managing Doctor for our brand-new state of the art facility. Managing Doctors provide mentorship to our team members and help us maintain a welcoming, positive work environment. Our ideal candidate is a Veterinarian that is interested is delivering high quality veterinary care and positively contributing to an exciting work environment and team culture.

We are opening a brand- new state of the art facility in February 2023.We strive to offer prompt and quality care for our patients. We are also extremely dedicated to our employees. One of our main goals is providing a better work/life balance by offering shorter shifts than an ER, no overnights and a generous PTO package. We also aim to provide a warm and supportive team environment that makes you look forward to coming to work.

As Managing Doctor, you would have both clinical and administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage day to day clinical and business operations
  • Contribute to the sale, marketing and business development
  • Interpret performance metrics and relay to team; Implement processes to improve
  • Represent practice at recruiting events and industry events
  • Establish and maintain PetMedic culture
  • Implement PetMedic Workflows and SOPs that deliver high quality medical care
  • Utilize KPIs that positively effect operational and business performance
  • Collaborate with technology partners and implement technology solutions
  • Help the marketing team execute and advance the PetMedic brand
  • Collaborate with learning and development to implement training and on boarding program
  • Set the standard for urgent care clinical medicine, client communication and clinical team leadership
  • Maintain a presence on the clinic floor by working 3-4 shifts per week
  • Collaborate and mentor Associate Doctors and clinical support teams
  • Report to Area Business and Support Manager and Area Medical Director

Requirements:
  • Licensure in good standing and eligibility to practice Veterinary Medicine
  • Veterinary Experience: 3 years (Required)
  • DEA Certification (Required)
  • Leadership experience preferred

PetMedic Urgent Care Vet Clinic, a Rarebreed Partner, is an after-hours and weekend urgent care facility for pets. Like urgent care centers for humans, we provide prompt veterinary care for dogs and cats on a walk-in or call ahead basis. We provide care for non-life-threatening conditions and patient care to complement pet owners' trusted family veterinarians.
