Optum Medical Partners is a group of primary care physicians with two clinical locations offering patients throughout Southern Nevada compassion, innovation, and high quality care. The group is headquartered in the greater Las Vegas, NV area.

Optum Medical Partners is seeking an accomplished Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Hematology & Oncology division located in Las Vegas, NV. This is an outstanding opportunity for a provider who wants to remain clinically active while helping to shape the future of cancer care in Southern Nevada.

Primary Responsibility:
  • Diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with hematology and oncology diseases according to standard, usual and acceptable or customary methods and techniques in the outpatient and inpatient settings

Required Qualifications:
  • National Nurse Practitioner certification in Adult, Family or Geriatrics, or Certified Physician Assistant or ability to obtain prior to employment
  • APRN or PA-C licensure in Nevada, or ability to obtain prior to employment
  • DEA or ability to obtain prior to employment
  • 1+ year of Primary Care in lieu of Oncology experience will be considered
  • Basic Computer skills to navigate electronic medical records and internet
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role. Candidates located in states that mandate COVID-19 booster doses must also comply with those state requirements. Preferred Qualification:
  • 1+ year documented clinical practice experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an Oncology setting

Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
