The Sisters of Providence and Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange have deep roots in California, bringing health care and education to communities from the redwood forests to the beach shores of Orange county - and everywhere in between. Our award-winning and comprehensive medical centers are known for outstanding programs in cancer, cardiology, neurosciences, orthopedics, women's services, emergency and trauma care, pediatrics and neonatal intensive care. Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, graduate from nursing school (Hired on/after 1/1/11), or
- Hired prior to 1/1/11 (and rehired after 1/1/11): Graduate from nursing school with a diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing; or
- Hired as a result of a unit transfer from Heritage: Graduate from nursing school with a diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing; or
- Hired as a ministry transfer: Currently enrolled in a BSN program with an expected graduation date within 6 months of hire.
- 1 year acute care experience.
- California Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- Mother Baby â€" Lactation Specialist (5SW Mother/Baby, 638000-F01): 5 years’ experience working with childbearing.
Preferred qualification:
- 5SW Mother/Baby, 638000-F01: Lactation Training/Education.
