Job Description
The position will be responsible for overall operations to achieve the goals and objectives of the Skin Surgery Center, specialists in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and skin cancer treatment.
The Director of Nursing will direct, coordinate, and control all aspects of Skin Surgery Centers ASC/clinical operations and to ensure the highest quality of care. The Director of Nursing will work closely with the Administrator on budgets and financial management issues.
General Overview of Duties and Responsibilities
Developing strong relationship and team building among the clinical teams and physicians. Planning and coordinating all patient care activities.
Reporting pertinent metrics and activities at regular intervals.
Implementing/revising policies per accreditation standards and managing all related activities for full compliance (i.e., quality studies, risk management, CMS Medicare, and Washington State Department of Health regulations, etc.)
Job Functions
Organization Leadership and Personnel Administration
Manage teammates in accordance with ASC policies to lead a dynamic team environment focused on quality patient care, continuous improvement, and service excellence
Training, developing, managing performance of facility teammates.
Skills & Requirements
Active RN license in good standing.
Bachelor's degree in nursing with master's degree in nursing, health administration, or business administration preferred, not required.
