Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse, RN, in Orthopaedics/Trauma is accountable for assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating care. Critical thinking and logical reasoning are also very important skills for the Registered Nurse. The Registered Nurse practices professional nursing set forth by Grand View Health, ANA Standards of Clinical Nursing Practice, the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses and the Society of Trauma Nurses. Unit Overview: The Orthopaedic/Trauma unit consists of 20 beds and primarily serves orthopedic and traumatic injuries. This Unit is a fast-paced environment that sees a diverse patient population with varying levels of acuity. All of our inpatient units are exceptionally collaborative among their staff and share a common philosophy around the value of teamwork, professionalism, and excellent patient care. Schedule: Per Diem, Committed, 48 hours in a 6 week schedule, 24 of 48 to be scheduled on the weekend shifts. 16 hours of Holiday time per year.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:Diploma in Nursing required, BSN preferred1 year of acute care experienced requiredLicenses and Certifications:Registered Nurse in PA - Licensed, Upon hire, requiredBasic Life Support (BLS), Upon hire, required
